The night crawl into my home

The night crawl into my home
With some memories of you,
unanswered prayer and
some fragmentary wishes.

The colour of darkness
Reminds me of your heart,
Melancholic, dark and reticence.

As the night crawls into my home;
Fills my room with darkness
The way you did to my life.

I knew light murders the darkness
Yet always forget to put the switch on;
Was it intentional or a mistake?

Lots of similarities between you and night;
Except it brings serenity but you don't!
