I Found My Bestfriend Back!
-Milik Ahmed
It was the 8th of March, the Day when I had to leave my Home for the first time to stay in a Boarding School, far away from my  parents.
We reached Guwahati Airport in the evening and board the flight for Chandigarh, First time going away from home so there is mixed emotions of sadness of leaving home and excitement for the new School, Papa and my cousin was also with me.
After a long 5 hour flight we reached Chandigarh Airport. Coming out of the airport we took a cab to Kasauli, it was about 63-64 km from Chandigarh Airport to Kasauli and generally takes 2-3 hour in a cab. When we reached Kasauli it was about 7 O'Clock and then we Stopped at a Dhaba and calmed our starving stomach with some sweet jalebi, Chole Bhatura and fresh hot tea, after breakfast we headed to our school and about 15 minutes of ride and we reached our school the St. Joshep High School, it has a huge campus, the school was built by the British during their rule in India, entering through the main gate there stand a beautiful Church constructed in a shape of a cross, built by the British families that laid the foundation of Kasauli town in 1842. Next to the Church there is the Main School consists of 5 floors housing Senior dormitory, senior school, middle school and Primary School including Science labs, book shop and Staff rooms next to this the Office Block consists of Principal's Office reception, kindergarten and sick bay.
We reach out to the reception and inquired for our room, after 10 minute, the receptionist gave us the allotted room key and send a peon with us to show us the room.
I got my room, it was not that big but quite enough to stay for two kids, entering into the room I saw another boy sleeping on the bed and unaware of everything in the real world. Papa and cousin put my luggage in the locker and make my bed. After an hour Papa and my cousin left me alone in the hostel, That Feelings is so strange When Papa said Good bye to me and I realised that I had to stay alone away from my parents and that made my heart cry, I wanted to scream out Loud but all I could do is to let the tears come down through my cheeks. I returned to room and slept crying, the entire day. When I wake up in the evening I saw my room partner sitting on the bed and gazing down through the window with an expression of emptiness. I got up from the bed and then he saw me and came to me "Hi! I'm Eshan Avasti" he said. A eight years old boy with round spects on eyes, he was from Azamgarh a well know state of Uttar Pradesh.
"Hello! I'm Edward Collins" I introduced myself, and start chatting and  we became friend, (and this is what I miss being an adult, during our childhood it was so easy to make friend, we were so pure and genuine but as we group we grow up with ego and this makes everything tough.)
Okay, going back, it was 6 O'clock in the evening, so we went to the Mess and had our snacks then returned to the room again.
Next Morning: First Day of School:
The struggle of existence began, waking up in the morning first thing to do after getting fresh is to rush for the breakfast. So after having breakfast I returned to my room and dressed up for the class
but when I had to tie my neck tie, the problem began, I don't know how to tie a neck tie so I rushed to the assembly with my messy tie which wasn't tied properly, I was hiding from the strict eyes of the teachers in order not to get punishment and assembly was about to dispatch when I felt a hand dragging me out the queue, it was P.E teacher his strict eyes encountered my messy tie and he make me to knee down for 10 minute when Father (Principal of St. Joseph) came and asked me to enter the class then I moved to the class embarrassed and tears on my eyes and finally I found an empty seat in the last near a cute girl, (I didn't knew her name yet)
As I sat next to her, She laughed on my messy neck tie, I was embarrassed then she introduced herself "Hi! I'm Avantika Bhardwaj"
"I'm Edward Collins" I replied without looking at her.
Then she asked me "You don't know how to tie a neck tie?" I without having a choice speak out the truth "I never tried to, as my mumma always did it for me!" The she came closer and said "okay! Don't worry! I will help you. Let me tie" I felt so happy when she said that she will help me because I don't want to get punished everyday. She fixed and tied my neck tie and then Teacher entered the class
