The colours shimmered in there,

 like a mirage but with colours,

Even in a crowded room,

you are all I see

A part of me I'll always need

I love you. Of course I do.

Have I not said it enough,

 or was I too shy?

Too shy to not even look back in your eyes,

Even when you were looking at me?

Were you?

Could I have been in the poems you wrote ,

 or was I late, again?

All  I could think was that

 I could have died in you,

 in that ocean of thoughts,

and melt in your smiles,

Closer than we thought,Yet, too far.

We acted like fallen stars, both of us.

The only thing was,I was the only one

who was deeply in love with the other,

Like it was all I got.

It felt something, around you,

I tried making peace with you,

 You felt like home, yet you weren't.

Will anywhere feel like you?
