Unhinged

There is no where that I wish to go today.
Unbound me from destinations and promises.
Let me be frivolous,
Vulnerably true to myself.
Take away the responsibilities,
The strings that restrict me.
Take me away, so far away.

Away to the spaces between good and bad,
Between Yes and No,
Between Love and Hate.
Spaces of neutrality.
For now,
I know not where to be.
So let me just float in the spaces of neutrality.

I have been living like they said me to,
I have been dancing to the song they sang.
But now, I can no longer move to their beat
As now I can hear the songs of my heart,
To which I have been deaf,
The songs that now steer me up to change,
Tell me to move away from the person of me they have made.

And I know it's never too late,
So I stop today.
I don't want to go that way,
The destinations and promises can wait.
Till I decide where I want to be.
Till I completely understand my heart's every beat.
Till then, take me away from everything.
