Promises That Were Not Kept

You promised to love me till the very end,
Making me believe that it is your true intend.
But you showered upon me your fake love,
Giving me a false feeling of the Heaven above.

You promised to take care of me my whole life,
Cutting all my problems like a sharp knife.
But you left me to struggle in the mid-way,
Making me cry each and every day.

You promised to be mine till the day I die,
Making me wander high above the sky.
But you are happy with someone else now,
Leaving me shattered anyhow.

You promised to stand by me whenever I needed you,
Giving me a helping hand in the times that flew.
But you are not with me when I needed you the most,
Laughing at me when I have started to get roast.

You promised that you would never break my trust,
Making me realize that you were there for me to rust.
But you broke my trust like no one did before,
Leaving me no space to be restore.
